Kamarul and Jefri: Merah rules!

The snooker competition saw some pretty heavy action, on the table and also around the table. The first round saw 16 people squaring against their opponent. Kuning got some scare when two of their players had to pull out due to some unforeseen circumstances. Luckily, Zulkifli and Zaidi turn up to fill in the slots. And the match between Zaidi (K) and Radhi Beranang (B) turned out to be one of the most sizzling, due to the supporters ranting and psycho games. Turned out that Zaidi is getting a lot of supports, with Odeng leading the charge to shout Radhi down. But Radhi proved that he is not easily rattled, although sweats were pouring like waterfall due to the intense pressure. When the black ball went into the pocket, Radhi turned around and had his last loud laugh for everyone. Bravo, macho man of blue. (Sorry, the writer is biru too)

Anyway, the competition went on to the quarterfinal again with a player missing. Manjit, the great hope for Biru and to sit out his game against Jefri because he had to sit somewhere else. Lucky for Jefri, or Manjit would have wiped the table with your shirt. With a long rest, Jefri went ahead to crush Irhan 48-0 in the quarterfinal to set-up the final with Kay who beat Shahriman 29-0 in the other semi-final clash.

As for Khairil Amran, he made his mark in the quarterfinal by giving way to Kay. Azman Adam made a valiant effort, but was played out by Irhan 46-0. In the final Kay made his move and at the end of the game, picked up the honour as Snooker King of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, beating Jefri 33-25. Then, Jefri hurriedly went to catch the bus to go back to his hometown.
